Last week we ran a private tour for a Belgium family focused on the challenge to find two of the most secret and attractive species in Bulgaria, for just 5 days – the Wolf and the Capercaillie. The first 3 days (2 nights) we spent in our special Wolf Hide in Ponor Mountain, just north of Sofia. The last morning we were pleased to watch a single wolf in front of the hide, and the camera trap shows they have also came during the night. Then we spent 2 days in “Rila” National park where we had a close encounter with the Capercallie. Also during the tour we enjoyed views of Golden eagle, Saker falcon, Nuthacker, Common Crossbill, Roe Deer and many more common species.
