Day 1 Arrival at Arrival at Warszawa, transfer to Biebrza for three nights. Accommodation and dinner.
Days 2 and 3 Both days will explore Biebrza River Valley, including Biebrzanski Park and marshes and Wigierski National Park, representing a unique for Europe floodplain with its dimension and unscathed state, into the depth of the Augustow Primeval Forest. All this places offer mosaics of water bodies (big rivers, lakes), large reedbeds, swamp forests, wet meadows, dry sand dunes, grasslands, peat-bogs and southernmost taiga-type forest in Europe and latter is the only place in Poland where Baltic Grayling occur. Other species include Woodland Brown, Cranberry Fritillary, Bog Fritilary, Pallas' Fritillary, Nickerl' s Fritilary, Scarce Heath, Moorland Clouded Yellow, Cranberry Blue, Violet Copper, Purple Emperor, White Admiral, Purple-edged Cooper, Alcon Blue, Large Blue, Mountain Argus, Northern Cheqered Skipper, Clouded Apollo, Scarce Swallowtail and many more. There are many big birds here too with White-tailed Eagle, Marsh Harrier, Cranes.
Day 4 Transfer to Bialowieza Forest for three nights with stops on the way in Narwianski Park.
Days 5 and 6 Will spend two days in amazing Bialowieza Primaeval Forest which is one of the last and largest remains of the immense primeval forest that once stretched across the European Plain. Main targets here are very local and rare Woodland Brown and Danube Clouded Yellow, together with Bog Fritilary, Scarce Fritilary, Marsh Fritilary, Poplar Admiral, Amanda's Blue, Green underside Blue, Cranberry Blue, Large Copper, Purple-edged Cooper, Scarce Copper, Purple Hairstreak, Pallas' Fritillary, Yellow-legged Tortoiseshell, Woodland Ringlet, Northern Chequered Skipper and many more. There will be possibility to observe European Bison and many birds including Hazel Grouse, several Woodpeckers.
Day 7 Transfer to Chelm for two nights with stops on the way in Poleski Park.
Day 8 Will explore Chelm calcareous marshes, the only place where False Ringlet still occur. The site is a complex of calcareous marshes, where fens overlie the chalk and wetter areas are covered by reedbeds and sedges. Within the marshes are chalk islands covered with dry grassland and scrub, while surrounding meadows partly are used by farmers. Other species include Scarce Fritillary, Assmann's Fritillary, False Heath Fritillary, Marsh Fritilary, Camberwell Beauty, Large Tortoishell, Large Heath, Lesser Purple Emperor, Hungarian Glider, Weaver's Fritillary, Large Copper, Large Blue, Dusky Large Blue, Adonis Blue, Chapman's Blue, Blue-spot Hairstreak, Large Chequered Skipper, Oberthur's Grizzled Skipper.
Day 9 Transfer to Krakow for 3 nights with stops on the way in Lasy Janowskie Park.
Days 10 and 11 We will explore Niepolomice Forest & Krakow Valleys Landscape Park (Park Krajobrazowy Dolinki Krakowskie) (Jurassic Hills - Tyniec lies SW of the center of KrakГіw, on the right bank of the Vistula, among limestone Jurassic hills, called the Tyniec Hills)/Trzebinia. First one is a large forest complex, situated between Vistula and Raba rivers, which used to constitute a single virgin forest originally. Here will searching for Scarce Large Blue, Dusky Large Blue, Alcon Blue, Violet Cooper, Sooty Copper, Black Hairstreak, White-letter Hairstreak, Geranium Argus, Rock Grayling, Grayling, Large Wall Brown, Dusky Meadow Brown, Scarce Heath, Pearly & Chestnut Heath, Camberwell Beauty, Dryad, several Fritilaries and many Skippers, including Chequered and Northern Chequered, Safflower, Lulworth, Large Grizzled Skipper.
Day 12 Will spend the day in picturesque Pieniny Mts searching for Purple and Lesser Purple Emperors, Northern Wall Brown, Duke of Burgundy, several ringlets, including Mountain Ringlet, Woodland Ringlet, Scotch Argus, Arran Brown, Clouded Apollo, Scarce Swallowtail, Moorland Clouded Yellow, Craneberry Blue, Purple-shot Copper, Purple edged Cooper, Camberwell Beauty, Yellow-legged Tortoiseshell, Mountain Green-veined White, Red-underwing Skipper, Olive skipper and many others.
Day 13 Transfer to Warszawa airport for your flight back home. Time permitting we will have few stops on the way.
